GREENWOOD -- Illinois-based Anchor Harvey has bought a group of businesses, which includes D&N Machining, a Greenwood precision machine shop.
The acquisition, with an undisclosed purchase price, will result in the Precision Machining Group businesses combining its machining expertise with Anchor Harvey's legacy in closed-die aluminum forging.
"The integration of Anchor Harvey and PMG represents a significant step forward for our company and our customers," said Marty Bondar, general manager of Anchor Harvey. "By uniting our expertise in forging, machining, and advanced engineering, we're not only expanding our capabilities but also reinforcing our commitment to being a problem-solving partner for our customers."
The move brings the PMG family of businesses, which includes D&N Machining in Arkansas, Northfield Industries in Schaumburg, Ill., and New Dimensions Precision Machining in Union, Ill., under the Anchor Harvey name, according to a press release issued Tuesday.
D&N Machining will continue operating in Greenwood with the same staff and leadership, the release states. D&N Machining was founded in 1985 and the 56,000-square-foot facility serves the oil and gas, aerospace and defense, valve, fluid power and construction industries.
