The Challenge
The customer’s existing jack system was engineered to operate on their slurry separation equipment (which is used in offshore oil fields) and was not performing in the salt spray environment with repeated breakdowns and production stoppages.
Our Customized Solution
Our jack manufacturing department collaborated with engineers to partner with the customer to design a non-traditional jack system, with non-traditional components made to withstand a caustic environment in hard-to-reach locations like their oil fields.
Anchor Harvey produced a jack system to the customer’s unique design constraints with non-rusting components and sealed assemblies that prevented material and component breakdowns in the field. There have been no field issues since the redesign. The customer now perceives Northfield Industries, d/b/a Anchor Harvey, as their solution-oriented partner.
